Teens Trick or Treating!!

Well, I've been home for about a week now. The first day we were home, Colin & Jacob spent the night at our house. It was soo incredibly awesome! Honestly, most people dont live in a big gym with an apartment built into half of it located in the middle of a shopping center. We rode our bikes to Mabry Middle School and just sat there and waited for the kids to walk home like the creepy stalkers we are. It's funny to wave at the passing kids.. "Hey.. Love you.. My place, 3:00"... If you're homeschooled and live near a school you should try it some time. It'll be awkward and weird, yet you'll be bursting out laughing inside your head at the same time... The next day we also went ice skating. Ice skating wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. It's alot like roller skating.. but without breaks, and hard ice, and painful. My friend, Cheryl, had blisters when she was done ice skating. I absolutely love to roller blade, but ice skating is not my top thing. The day after that, I took my cousin to Scarowinds.

--Me and Lexi at SCarowinds, 2011
It was pretty awesome itself. They had monsters and stuff jumping out at you and scaring the crap out of you. I was supposed to meet Ginger there, but she was staying for some haunted house thing she made.. I already knew that she would be missing out on alot. But I also wouldn't want to put up with the "This is lame, I could be at my own haunted house right now" thing. She said nobody showed up. (shoooocker..) The day after that I was supposed to meet my gf, Kassidy, at Boiling Springs First Baptist. But instead she was going to go trunk or treating at River Hills, and we didn't want to go to that. But I was REALLY tired that day anyways.. so that wouldn't have been the best time to meet Kass after a whole year anyways. THEN the day after THAT (Which would be today, AKA: Halloween) me, my sister, colin and jacob went trick or treating. It was beast. I dressed up as a vampire. Jacob dressed up as a little kid with a pin wheel, beanie cap and suspenders. Colin dressed up as a banana. Their mom dressed up as a baby. Gloria dressed up as a mad hatter. My mom dressed up as Captain Jack Sparrow. Soo.. yeah, pretty fun week. Had every day booked.

Heading back home

Well, I'm currently in Raleigh N.C. This is the 3rd time I've been here this year. The first time was for I.D. Tech Camp this last summer. The 2nd time I was working for a week up here, which I had two friends come and see a show which was pretty beast. This 3rd time I'm not sure what I'm performing for. It's a public event for the people in the city to see. So we haven't performed here before. Should be interesting. Yesterday's show was pretty good. We had the best audience there so far. Lots of laughs, the people at that retirement center have seen us for the past 10 years and say that we're their best entertainment.

--Our performance space yesterday

Then we went to Golden Corral. We go there alot. It's a pretty nice buffet.. in most places. Sometimes you'll go to a few and there's flies all over the place. Or if you go to one in S.C. you'll usually notice that over half of the people that go to use the bathroom don't wash their hands when they leave. But other than that, it's fine. Probably just as good as eating Mc Donald's.

--Golden Corral, yesterday.

When I get home today, starting tomorrow I have the whole week booked. Gotta sleep over at my house with Colin & Jacob. Then all three of us go ice skating the next day. Then the day after that I'm going to Carowinds again with my cousin, Lexi. Then the day after that I might be going to a halloween event at Boiling Springs Baptist Church with my gf, Kassidy. Then to top it all off, I'm going trick or treating as Dracula with Colin and Jacob. Colin's dressing up as a banana so it should be a pretty good night.

But tomorrow, sleepover. I'm going to have the lights down in my gym (Yes, I live in a gym with an apartment built into the front half of it in a shopping center accross the street from a fire station behind a library, yea, pretty beast.). Gonna get our amplifier out and pump the music up and have a HUGE tiny dance party with 3 guys. Might stalk the middle schoolers or something.

well, gotta go, --this is milner!

Back from New York (and) Don't mean to be hating!

Okay okay okay, just gotta get this through. I've been reading over my previous posts and just notice that at some points it sounds like I'm really hating on a couple of people. Haha, the major one would be Ginger. Soorrry Ginger. Tho you could probably care less considering you wouldn't know my friends that read this blog anyways. :P Just let me pick this back up here,  never meant to be talking bad about some people. Just really didn't ever mention the good about 'em so don't be judging them or anything. Like Ginger, I've barely said anything nice about her from what I've been re-reading. Sooo here goes.. she's actually pretty awesome. Like I said before, she's also really pretty and her current bf is lucky to have her. Really lucky. She's really funny and outgoing and she'd probably be the most popular girl in my town.

Okay. Now that that's been straightened out.. I just left the train from New York City to Virginia. We saw three shows. Memphis, Priscilla and Rock of Ages. Memphis was a very entertaining show, I highly recommend seeing it. Rock of Ages was great too, but when you walk into the theater you will immediately regret taking your kids if you do. It should be rated "R". And let me just end the talk of NY by saying.. NO ONE'S LIFE IS PERFECT UNTIL YOU SEE PRISCILLA! It's the best show on broadway, from what i've seen, right now!! I swear I've never seen so many guys in dresses in my life. Well I don't really have much else to post so.. --this is cap!

Nachos are beast

Well, still in the Washington D.C. area. Tho not in the tourist area anymore, just sort of relaxing until we leave for New York City on the train tomorrow. We'll probably see a movie today. Not sure what movie we'll see tho. Currently at Mc Donalds.. bored, so why not update my blog for the day? :p Yesterday we had mexican. Mexican is not my favorite, but I like it. Especially if I haven't eaten breakfast, or lunch because our two shows were very close together.

--My beast 3-cheese nachos, with chicken, black beans and sower cream

The picture above, that's what I had for supper. Yes. I say supper. Supper sounds sooo much cooler than what belongs in the 1950's.. Dinner. -shiver- I don't feel like sounding like my grandpa. Also I'm from S.C. so you kinda get used to the country accents and bad grammar anyways. But from the picture above, I ate all of that and my mother's taco salad. Yep. Very hungry. That plate looks like heaven, doesn't it?

We had two shows yesterday, but I only got one picture. It was a picture of the 3:00 PM show. The people who came to see the show, most of them have lost their mobility. All with either walkers or in wheel chairs. They still have their minds tho. The thing with the people I hang out with, they think going to retirement centers and performing is.. quote on quote "stupid" because they won't remember it or not understand anything. But they will. We have 95 year olds who come to see our shows because they remember us from previous years. I don't think teens should be as harsh on seniors, considering they'll be their age sometime too. If not, die before they REACH their age.

Well, out of things to blog about.. soo.. --This is Milner!

Washington D.C.

Okay, we had three days off at home. I took one day off to go to the fair with my cousin, Lexi. Then the other two days off, I slept over at Colin & Jacob's house, and attended a homeschool yearbook project. I'm currently in charge of creating the ads for the year book. Because I'm apparantly.. "beast" at it. Haha, and I used paint. :P

--A business card-sized ad I made for Denny's

After those 3 days were up, we made our way down to Washington D.C. Me, being a big Disney freak was excited to find a few things in the Smithsonian at the Museum of American History...

--1960's Dumbo!! :D

 --Broadway Lion King mask
 --Michael Jackson's hat
--Original Wizard of Oz ruby slippars (:
--Old records o.o

The smithsonian has some pretty cool stuff. Including the hat that Abraham Lincoln wore when he was shot. Which, sadly, I did not get a picture of. But we've been up in D.C. for about 3 days now. It's been pretty nice. We went to the Smithsonian once, then been doing Romeo & Juliet shows. But after you've been to Washington D.C., New York City, Orlando and all these other places about 50 times, it gets kind of old. And you also feel like pulling your hair out because of the freaking traffic. On the other hand, we did get a nice hotel in downtown washington. The Residence Inn by Marriott. The room is alot nicer than what we're used to.

 --Our room

...and there's something to be said when the public restrooms use towels for you to dry your hands! :)

--BEAST restrooms!

Our performance space was really... narrow. But, I preferred it that way, because usually they'd have us against the wall to the left and then it would be very wide and we wouldn't have much space to play off of. The show was good. I believe we have two shows today.. BLAH :/

--Performance space yesterday

Well, other than that, I guess all I can say is that I had a cheesecake with chocolate syrup and strawberry sauce yesterday! :) Tho, I would've preferred it without the chocolate syrup..

--This is Cap! ..then again, I'm just gonna start saying.. --This is Milner!

My awesome cousins! 8D

The first thing I want to post tonight.. I'm tired of reading the crap that some people will say on Facebook chat. I'm not going to point anyone out. (Ginger) But if you wouldn't tell someone something in reality, why say it on Facebook? EVEN if you aren't going to see that person again. I'm not refurring to just one person (for the most part), I'm speaking for a few of my other "friends." (Not really) Luckily for me, I'm really not offended. (Yea kinda)

But all the stupid drama aside. Back from Florida. Went to the fair with my cuz. Alexis, we'll call Lexi, gotta be the best cousin anyone can have! Tho actually not related really, she lives with my uncle and aunt. She's beast. My other cousin, Christopher, my actual cousin, he's pretty beast too. He's a video gamer, and I'm more of an internet/keyboard/party guy. We have differences but over all we get along and have a good time.

--Dah 3 cousins 8)

Me and Christopher usually hang out at each other's houses sometimes. Dad usually takes me and Lexi to Carowinds on the weekends. I'm currently at a sleep over with my two new buds, Colin & Jacob. They're really beast xD hahaha. Yep, I got beast friends. But there is some people I wish I never met. Y'know, they mostly appear on the cruises. It doesn't matter how well you know them, once you're on a cruise, some of the kids will tend to get mean sometime on the cruise. Some will become real big b#*%$es AFTER the cruise. Like online. (Ginger) Others are just really awesome people the whole time (Umberto, Tyler, Christina, and a few more awesome ppl)

So.. yea getting back to the sleep over.  Byee :)

Last day in Florida

Okay, so I'm now at my last day in Florida. It's about 7:00 PM now. Tomorrow we check out, and we do one more show. Then we drive half way back to S.C., then get in on Thursday at about around the afternoon. Yesterday's show was pretty good. We performed at one of my favorite places. Here's how I sum up my favorite performance places: The bigger the stage & theater, the better I like it. The smaller the space & stage, the less I like it. So.. that means tomorrow I'm performing at my least favorite retirement center. Because the stage is tiny, and the performance spice is really small. A narrow room. But I'll talk about that later. Yesterday, we performed in a huge church. With a big stage (half of it was covered with chairs and a piano tho) and the seating area looks like it goes on for miles. But because it's such a huge space, only about half of the space was filled up tho. But I still love it. They also fed is a huge lunch as well.

 --Exterior
 --Seating area
--Stage

That was where we did the 1:00 PM show. We also did another show in the evening at the retirement center we've been staying at for the past 9 days. It used to have a stage but it's been walled off and removed for about 2 years now. But the performance space was nice. About 15 people came to see the show. That was okay with me too.

--Gulf Coast Village Perfomance Space

I also had a cheesecake. Now, let me just say this. Nobody's life is perfect until they've had a bite of cheesecake. Cheesecake is desert for the sould, man. Cheesecake is the best creation that's ever existed! And let me just say this, The Cheesecake Factory's "Reece's Peanut Butter Cheesecake", is BEAST!! But I tend to go to books-a-million or Barnes and Nobles alot and get the plain NY cheesecake.

--My cheesecake.

Today, we had a day off. And I did my algebra last night at like, 10:00 PM so I wouldn't have to do it today. (Yes, I made a 100%. Thank you very much. Algebra is easy!!) So, today I got done with HW at about around 12:30 this morning. If I did math today it would have been about 1:45. So we went thrift-store shopping today. I got some new blue sunglasses and another leather jacket. It's the 2nd leather jacket I've bought on this trip, and add my huge fluffy one at home, I now have 3 leather jackets. These sunglasses are a bit nicer than the Pollo Tropical sunglasses. But they feel crooked, but don't look it. They look nicer than my $2.00 "Chicken on the Grill" sunglasses. I got these for 3 bucks.

--My new beast sunglasses. (imma dork ;)

--This is cap! Tho... haven't been wearing a cap lately..

An Actor's life for me

"Hi-diddle-dee-dee, An actor's life for me! A wax mustache and a beaver coat. A pony cart and a billy goat. Hi-diddle-dee-dum, An actor's life is fun. You wear your hair in a pompadour. You ride around in a coach and four. You stop and buy out a candy store. An actor's life for me!" -- Disney's Pinnochio

..."Dude, I saw your play! It looks so fun." ... "You must be rich" ... "You travel a lot. That's so cool." ... "You probably have billions of friends." ... "You're so lucky, you don't have to go to school." ...

This is what I hear all the way down from Louisiana, over to Florida, up to New York and back to South Carolina. Every school, retirement centers, country clubs and churches I've been to/performed for, I hear this. There's no doubt that at least one person will at least come up and say.. "You're so lucky!" Yep. I know I'm lucky. Don't get me wrong! I'm very grateful for my life. But it may not live up to the standards that most people might think. The kids in the school would probably be thinking..

"He's homeschooled, so he doesn't have homework. He travels all the time, so he must have a lot of friends. He does all these shows, so he must be rich."

Well, if you're thinking any of those three things, you are wrong. When it comes to homework, it doesn't matter if I have a show or two on a day, I have to get done with: Physical Science, Algebra-1, Writing, Reading, Grammar and then you will get tired at the end of the day doing two shows. The shows look fun, and it is. But it's also a lot of work. I won't even mention the stress it takes to learn Romeo and Juliet. Then you have those days where you really don't want to do a show but you have to. Then after doing the same show about 100 times, it will eventually get boring. Especially R&J. Now I will admit that I have alot of friends. I have friends in New York, Washington D.C., South Carolina, North Carolina, Florida, Louisiana, and even some from other countries. The friends out of the country, I've met once. The friends in all states but my town in S.C., I'll meet about once or twice a year. About 200 kids from all these schools will come up and say "Hey, it's Milner! Milner, do you remember me?" and in truth, I say yes. When I really don't. THOUSANDS of kids each year, elementary, middle and even high school. d: I will remember a few. I can list the amount of friends I have in my town right now: Lexi, Christopher, Colin, and Jacob. I'm hoping to make some friends when I'm walking my dog and pass some kids walking from the middle school that might recognize me form a play. Or some people in a new church we're attending. Yea, I got friends. I have lots. I have thousands. I can remember half of them. And I see a third of that other half once a year. As far as going RICH, you're getting ahead of your self there. We vacation LIKE we're rich. Such as the two week cruise we got off of. But the catch from the cruise, we have to stay and do about 20 or 30 shows in Florida for four weeks. Just to get money to make up for it. We have to work really hard to do the fun things.

Yes, I'll admit that I love my life. I'll admit that I get to do things that NO other kid in the world gets to do. That being an actor, doing homework on the road and visiting new places all in probably a weeks trip about once a month. So I'm not ungrateful. My point here, is that it's not exactly a dream life. It's not perfect. There are a good bit of ups. But there's also some downs. Hope that you understand my point. (; --Milner

"Down the Rabbit Hole"

Yes. Another freaking love post. But this time it's not necessarily about me. This could be about you, or someone else, or the person who causes this. Why is this post called "Down the Rabbit hole?" I'm refurring to the rabbit going down that hole and Alice falls in what seems like a never-ending hole. That's what my definition of.. quote-on-quote, "LOVE" is. You can think of it like this... Let's make the rabbit that girl/guy you're chasing after. Eventually, you catch up to him/her and you fall down a hole together. Then, after what seems like a long time, it all ends with a huge THUMP! You've reached the end of the hole. Are you following me? If you are, you shouldn't have a problem with the rest of this post. First topic, we'll call it "Junior-High love". Which basically means: "I'll be her/his bf/gf for now. But if I find someone better, or if she does something I don't like, I'm breaking up." If you've read my earlier post: "My Stupid Love Life", then you can refer to mine and Kassidy's relationship. Which I'll put me in full blame for that thump at the end of the hole. She liked me, I liked her. She was pretty, my life was set.. so I thought. Until I went on the cruise, met another girl and afterwords figured out I cheated on Kassidy on the cruise. So I break up because partly I know the difference between long-distance and real relationships. Now, that big thump was on us. We hit the end of the rabbit hole and were both hurt pretty bad. The "Down the Rabbit Hole" topic works even if you've never been in a relationship with that person. You'll eventually ask the person out, and there's a 50/50 chance that he or she will say no. That's a shorter version of the hole. 2nd topic, (Don't judge me if I'm wrong adults, I'm 13) marriage. I'm not talking much about this. You can see this with divorce. Topic #3.. lost of loved one. This could also be put in for, let's say, mothers, fathers, friends or whatever. When a loved one dies, like your husband/wife. Then that was the end of your rabbit hole. Possibly the longest one, hardest, most painful one.

But you should get my point by now. Any relationship, even if it's just a "best friend" relationship. It will eventually end with a huge thud at the end of that relationship. There's no escaping it once you crawl in. There's no way out and there's.. most of the time.. no changing it once you've reached the end.

My bad hand writing

Yesterday, we went to Cici's Pizza. I looove Cici's, baby! Best pizza buffet ever! It makes pizza hut look like the tiniest pizza buffet in the world. The main reason I love Cici's Pizza, the macoroni & cheese pizza is amazingly delicious. Yes, I love italian. I love pizza. End of story.

--My Macoroni pizza

The day before yesterday, we went to Steak N' Shake. Or Shake N' Steak. Or Back N' Shake. Or whatever yah call it. Had a triple steak burger. Wasn't as big as the picture shows it :/

--Triple steak-burger

One thing I hate about myself, is my bad hand writing. I know, I know.. "you can fix that yourself!" But honestly, I'm not trying. I hate it, but I also don't care about it, you know? Well, I gotta go do a show now, talk to you guys later! In other words: Bye mom! :)

FALAFELS!

Well, hello again readers! Which is probably about 1 or 2 people. So, in other words.. Hi mom!! :)You know what really bugs me? Those little signs that people put on top of pianos that read... "Please, do not place anything on piano." And they put a huge flower pot or decorations on it. For an example, here's two pictures of two pianos in the same retirement center that have a sign and something on top of these pianos..

 --Pumpkins
--Flower base

Wondering WHY it bugs me? Out of all the places we perform in, about 90% of the rooms have a piano onstage and it's really tempting to put our props or a cup of water or something on top of the piano. Almost all of them have this tiny sign on them, and then have something propped up on top of it. Like these photos above. :P Y'know, I think I'm about to outgrow this Romeo outfit, it's getting really tight.

--Romeo outfit

Oh well, I guess it's time to sing the "Men in Tights" song! :D ..-ahem-..

"We're men, we're men in tights! We roam around the forests looking for fights. We may look like sissys, but don't get us wrong or else we'll put out your lights! We're men! MANLY men! We're men in tights! TIGHT! Tights... WE'RE BUTCH!" :D

--We're butch!

The performance space yesterday was pretty good. Like most. We don't really ever have a bad performance space. The load in was pretty easy too, just had to walk through the front door and through another door and we were in the auditorium. A decent size stage, very fun.

--Performance space (Set not up yet)

Yep. Good show yesterday. Today, we had a day off. Did some homework at McDonalds, went to the mall and ate. Visited the Apple Store. Saw "Courageous" today, veeerrryy sad movie. But it was really hilarious in other parts too. I highly recommend seeing it! I'm not going to spoil anything, but I definately think fathers should see this movie. Anyways, about food. I love food, it's one of my main weaknesses that you can put in front of me. On the Disney Cruise, I don't think my friends saw how much I ate. I can eat, eat, and eat, man. I eat alot. Most of the time it's nothing good for me either, but the good thing is that I'm not getting fat. I haven't worked out since I've been home (No, I dont work out.. alot). I'm not fat. I'm pretty skinny for my height. I just haven't stopped growing UP, and not to the left and right. Today, I ate a $5.00 Meatball/Cheese sub from Subway at the mall today.

--I know it looks like a mess.

When I start growing wide, I think I'll cut back and start eating some of those delicious falafels.

--Mom's falafels

I hesitated to try the sample because I heard it's "very good for you". So I tried one, it's very good, to my surprise. So there's a back-up I'll be eating when I start to get fat :P hahaha, they seel them at "Moov Vegetarian" I think that's what it's called. But, I had a meatball sub. Gotta enjoy as much junk while you still can, right? I dont have any fat, at all... also to my surprise o_O

"Chicken on the Grill" Sunglasses

Well, I'm still here in Florida for the next eight days. Yesterday's show, I was really tired. But, I had to let the show go on, or else I don't get payed. We all know how that works. :p Even for a 13 year old, but I wouldn't be doing these shows if I wasn't get payed. Unless I was doing shows I wanted to do. Like Beauty and the Beast, or The Taming of the Shrew. Otherwise I would not be doing Romeo and Juliet. But I am. $10.00 per show. You're probably thinking "Rip off!" Well, the money adds up. 10 bucks per show, 7 shows for one week, that's seventy bucks right there. And I usually end up doing about 10 shows per week so there's 100 dollars a week. Sometimes more! Another thing, I really don't have anything to spend my money on anymore. After buying a PS2 3 years ago and a Wii last year, a figured out that I'm not much into video games. So I've stopped buying video games. 2 years ago I bought a 200.00 trampoline and I never use it to this day, it just sits in our gym. I do use my desktop alot tho. I use it to post my RCT3 vids on youtube, and to use the internet. My parents got me my laptop. My dad gave me his old iMac. So, I figured out that I'm an "internet junky". I'm either walking/riding my bike around town listening to my iPod, or online. I'll sometimes hang with friends. So, we have about 250 R&J shows these year. 250 X 10 = 2,500 bucks, if I don't spend any money from now to January. Another thing, I've got about 50 schools we're working in for our Christmas Tour. Maybe more. So we've got workshops then show days, dang. You know I never actually realised how much money I make. But anyways, back to today. Yesterday, we performed at another theater. I just loove performing in auditoriums. They're alot better than dining rooms and multipurpose rooms.

--Performance space yesterday

Did I mention that I bough 2.00 sunglasses? Yep. I don't see the big freaking idea why people go and spend 5.00 freakin' bucks on sunglasses! "It depends on the brand" yea, nobody cares what the brand is. Sunglasses are sunglasses, they're easy to lose. Easy to break. Go to a thrift shop and get them for 2.00. Go to Wal Mart and by them for 10.00. Or be an idiot and by them for 50.00. It's really dumb. I see no difference. All sunglasses look the same on me anyways! (like a loooser d:)

--My and my beast $2.00 sunglasses.

Of course, it wasn't until after I bought them did I realise that they're Pollo Tropical sunglasses. But I guess you can call it the brand! :p Honestly, nobody would even notice. Looks like normal sunglasses. And I loooove Pollo Tropical! :D

--Beast Pollo Tropical "Chicken on the Grill" sunglasses 8)

Well, that's about it. Except for the fact that I ate half of a whole large pizza today.. and no. I don't like pizza crust. Bleeechh d:

--Pizza I ate.
